‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.’
Prayer really works. Are you open to the power of prayer?
There is no magic; no special incantation.
Simply, words spoken aloud or in the silence of our hearts and addressed to ‘Our Father’.
If you would like us to pray for you please get in touch with Alan Hamilton, our Minister.
He can arrange for our prayer team to include you in their prayers.
If you wish, names and personal details can be withheld. God knows who we are!
Prayers @ KPC: all are welcome to join us in the North Hall on Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m.
This relaxed and informal gathering starts with a brief chat about what is going on in the world and in the church. We then move into a time of prayer, silent or spoken, as we pray about people/issues on our mind, and give thanks for answers to prayer we have seen.
It is always a privilege to pray for others, and so we would be delighted to receive any prayer requests – either long or short term, anonymous or otherwise.
Please email your request to our Minister Alan Hamilton, or drop him a note via his pigeon hole outside the vestry or through his home letterbox at 8 Clathic Avenue, Bearsden.
There is also an opportunity to pray for our Service every Sunday morning at 9:50 a.m. in the Vestry.
Please consider joining us at one or both of these meetings.
