Killermont Parish Church is a congregation of the Church of Scotland which is Presbyterian and Reformed and serves the whole nation of Scotland. We are part of the regional Presbytery of Dumbarton.

Spiritual leadership is vested in our Kirk Session. The Session is a group of elders ordained for life and representative of all parts of the congregation. Our minister is a moderator of the Session.

Stewardship of our buildings and finances is the responsibility of the Congregational Board. Its members include our elders plus others who feel called to this particular ministry. Our minister chairs the Board.

We called our minister to preach the word of God and to administer the sacraments, to pastor to us and to offer us spiritual guidance.

New Youth/Family Pastor resources were sourced in Summer 2010 with the following remit:

  • to build on our successful family and youth pastoral work programmes already in place
  • to encourage our families with young children and our young people in living faith
  • to work alongside and support our team of enthusiastic volunteers
  • to help us develop our vision for family and youth pastoral work within our community
