In the Sanctuary of Killermont Parish Church.

Worship of God is by its very nature dynamic, inclusive and varied. It reflects all aspects of His personality and is celebrated in word, music and silence and with all our senses.

Here in Killermont Parish Church our worship reflects the diversity of our people, while offering the challenge of God’s Word alongside the comfort of His presence.

Most of us gather at 10:00 am each Sunday throughout the year. Our worship is centred on the Word of God and the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Most Sundays our music is lead by our organist and choir. Roughly once a month, our band take over. We use our screen to project words and images throughout. The leading of worship is shared among our minister and members of the congregation.

10:00 am is also the time when our Sunday Clubs meet covering all ages from babies to late teens. They can usually be persuaded to join us in the Sanctuary after which we share a short time of all-age worship.

About once a month, at 11.30 am some of us join together to worship God using music and hymns, and in a style which reflects earlier days. We don’t use our screen and we sing from the older CH3 Hymnbook.

Regularly throughout the year, we hold Sunday evening services at 7:00 pm. Each has a specific and varying focus, such as “God’s Healing Power”. These are quieter, more contemplative times.

We celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper about once a month, either as an integral part of the Service, or as a separate session afterwards.

Of course, at Christmas, we celebrate lots and welcome folk from all over our community.

And the same at Easter. For those who can make it up in time, we gather in our church grounds for a daybreak communion service on Easter Morning at 7:30 am, after which we share a well-earned breakfast.
